In 2023, the NCRB recorded 4.48 lakh crimes against women, around 51 an hour. Most happen close to home, on ordinary days, to people who thought it would not be them.
A small device that lives on your keys. Squeeze the buttons on both edges and three things happen at once: a 130 dB siren and strobe, an SOS with your live location to the people you trust, and 112 one tap away. No screen, no menus, and it works even if your contacts never install our app.
We’ll share exact dates with the waitlist first.
Most of us already take precautions: the longer route, the shared cab, the call that lasts until the front door. Kavach is for the moment those are not enough, and it removes every step but one.

Safety perception drops sharply after dark, on the street and on public transport. In one Hyderabad survey, three in four women said they felt unsafe moving around after 4 pm.
In a fall, a panic or the dark, it may not be possible at all. Kavach is one squeeze you can manage inside a pocket, with cold or unsteady hands, without looking.
“You can’t change the streets overnight. You can change what’s in your hand when something goes wrong.”

A button on each edge, pressed together and held. You can do it inside a pocket without looking, and two buttons with a hold means it will not go off on its own in a bag.
A 130 dB siren and a strobe light start at once. Loud enough to be heard across a street, bright enough to be seen down one, and they keep going until you stop them.
Everyone on your list gets your name, the time and a live location link by app and SMS. 112 is one tap away on the same screen.
One tap on “I’ve got it” stops the escalation and tells everyone else who is responding. One tap on “I’m safe” from you closes the loop.
One device, one app, and a mode for the way your day actually goes. Each mode changes who is told, how fast it escalates, and what gets logged.

Bus, metro, auto, the last stretch on foot. Commute mode keeps your primary contact on your route and fires the full cascade the moment you squeeze.

Night Walk mode shares your live location with one trusted person until you arrive, and sends a safe-arrival note the moment you do.

Hostel to library to the late chai stall. Parents see an alert only when it matters, never a feed of where you are.

A squeeze that unsteady hands can manage, and a call that reaches a son or daughter in another city. Kavach Plus adds fall assist next.

They don’t need the app. Every contact gets an SMS and a call that keeps escalating until someone answers, on any phone.

Delivery partners, nurses, call-centre staff, anyone whose day ends after dark. Rider mode is tuned for two-wheelers, and employers can issue Kavach as a standard safety layer.

Kavach is built around the two things a safety device must do: be with you, and be impossible to ignore when you ask it to be.
One app for you and for the people you trust. On an ordinary day it sits quiet and tells you everyone is fine. The moment you squeeze, it turns into the screen on the left: who has been reached, who has picked up, and exactly where you are.

The same electronics, app and emergency contacts power everything we make. We’re starting with Kavach Core, and each device after it adds one capability on top of a base that is already proven. Kavach Core, Plus and Pro share one app. Kavach Children is a separate line with its own app, built for parents.
The two-button call for help.
Core, plus motion sensing.
Plus, without needing your phone.
Built for parents, not for kids’ phones.
App notifications only work if your contact installed the app and left notifications on. That is a lot to assume of a daughter, a neighbour or an older parent. Every Kavach plan reaches every contact by SMS and an automated voice call, on any phone, with nothing installed on their end.
Siren and strobe on. Push + SMS to every contact with your live location link.
Automated voice call to contact #1.
No answer, so escalate to contact #2.
Cascade stops. Everyone is told who is responding.
You buy the device once. One low plan covers everything that has to keep working: the app, SMS and automated calls to every contact, and your live location. Reaching a parent on a basic phone is never an add-on. At launch, the device and your first year come together for ₹5,999.
One-time hardware purchase
Paid once. Yours to keep, with no lease and no lock-in.
Everything you need on day one

A battery-powered radio device sold in India has to earn a set of approvals. Cheap keychain alarms skip them. Before the first Kavach Core ships, it will carry every one.
Kavach Devices Private Limited is an Indian consumer electronics company, headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra. That is where Kavach is designed and engineered. Manufacturing is done in India, with Pune partners for board assembly and enclosures, rather than shipped in from someone else’s catalogue. We keep control of quality, we can iterate in weeks instead of quarters, and the people who answer your support email are the people who designed your device.
India has built strong central systems: 112, women and senior citizen helplines, police apps. They matter. But the first minutes of an emergency usually belong to the people closest to you. We are building Kavach to decentralise safety, so that help can come from your own circle, your street, your campus and your city at the same time. No company can do that alone, so we are looking for partners.
We want to work with organisations that support women and senior citizens across India: piloting Kavach with the people you serve, co-designing features with caregivers and survivors’ advocates, and training families and volunteers.
Policing is a State subject in India, and every state and city runs it differently. We are seeking partnerships with state police, city commissionerates, and Union, state and local government on safer streets, women’s safety and senior citizen programmes.
Housing societies, RWAs, colleges and employers with night shifts can become first responders for each other. We want to help them set up the people, routines and devices to do it well.
Leave us your email and we’ll let you know when Kavach Core is ready. Early members get first access, keep the price they signed up at, and help shape what we build next.
Questions about the device, an order, a partnership, a fleet or the press. Write to us and a person here reads it, normally replying within two working days.
If you are in immediate danger, call 112. This form is not monitored around the clock.
Kavach is a personal safety device from Kavach Devices Private Limited, an Indian company based in Pune. It is a small rectangular device that clips to your keys or bag, with a squeeze button on each edge and a signal light on its face. Squeezing both buttons sounds a 130 dB siren and strobe and sends an SOS to your emergency contacts with your live location, by app notification, SMS and automated voice call.
Kavach does not place calls to 112 on your behalf, and it is not a replacement for emergency services. The app puts 112 one tap away on the alert screen, and where the 112 India app is available it links straight into it. In an emergency, call 112 if you are able to.
No. Every Kavach plan reaches every emergency contact by SMS and an automated voice call, on any phone, with nothing installed. Contacts who do install the app also get instant push notifications and the family map.
Kavach Core and Kavach Plus pair with your phone over Bluetooth and use it to send the alert. The siren and strobe are on the device itself and work whether or not your phone is in range. Kavach Pro removes the phone entirely, with direct device-to-satellite alerting that needs no paired phone and no SIM.
Because Kavach is a live service, not just a piece of plastic. The Kavach plan, ₹199 a month or ₹1,999 a year, pays for alert delivery, SMS and voice calls to every contact, location relay, maps, cloud infrastructure and support. We kept it to one plan so that reaching someone on any phone is never an extra. The siren and strobe work without a plan.
The device is ₹4,500, paid once. The Kavach plan, with the app, SMS and automated calls to every contact, is ₹199 a month or ₹1,999 a year. At launch, the device and your first year of the plan come together for ₹5,999. These are indicative launch prices in Indian rupees, inclusive of GST.
Yes. The family plan is ₹2,999 a year and covers up to three Kavach devices, for example a daughter and both parents, with everything the Kavach plan includes. Each device is bought separately at ₹4,500.
Yes. We offer per-seat pricing for employers with night shifts, RWAs and housing societies, and colleges. Contact us and choose “Partnership, fleet or retail”, or write to corporate@kavachdevices.com.
No. Triggers are unlimited and never metered. In a safety product, any hesitation to squeeze is a design failure, so we will never charge you per alert, per SMS or per call.
Your location is shared with the emergency contacts you choose, when an alert is active or when you turn on live sharing. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. The app is built to India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, with consent, retention limits and deletion from day one.
Kavach Core is coming soon. The first production run is in progress, and waitlist members are allocated first and will be told the exact dates before anyone else. If you join the waitlist, you will hear from us before launch.
Direct from us at launch, with Amazon India and select retailers to follow. Your subscription is redeemed with a one-time activation code tied to your Kavach account, so it works the same wherever you bought the device.
